how lucky we are.
Pete and I went out to dinner with our dear friends Nate, Jason, Karyn and Jonah last night. Ajax Cafe was the location. Raising money for the new "big brothers,big sisters" of PT was the mission. Eating delicious food was the main mission.
I'd say it was a success!
And after the lil'tyke went off to ZZZ land, J, K, P & myself all hung around a great campfire talking about their property, gardening, the San Juans, life, bikes, and tea. It was a blast. We stayed up late! until like 10:30pm!!! we are so lucky.
The other thing I'm lucky for is the support of the community in putting together a fundraiser for three non-profits who take care of our trails! its called the Longest Day of Trails. you should check it out if you can. If you want to support it and are too far away, let me know and i'll get you set up with a participant! Let's support what we can! Healthy trails make healthy communities.
Another thing I'm lucky for is the comfort of it all, the simplicity in our lives and the trust in knowing this is good. not forever, but for now.
