"MY MOM AND DAD ALWAYS LET ME GET WHAT I WANT!!!"

Simply put, this was a statement yelled at my by a delicate little four year old wearing pajamas with cupcakes on them.... while waking up her two year old sister... over an hour after her normal bedtime.

augh, to have simple injustices be the end of the world. what a life that was. thank you mom, and dad, for raising me so. I can only imagine what it's like to hear that pain while knowing its for the better.

But life goes on, and we all somehow become working machines for "the man", "our" dreams and "the rat race". or maybe not. pete and i just offered our home to a couple pete's age with two little girls who were cyle-touring Washington state(or something like that, their plan is very loose). They definitely helped me realize that life really isn't about a career or a so called American dream. I think that we really only want to care for the earth, our immediate living family and our significant other. Yes we should all care about world hunger and injustice but really, when it all boils down to the bare bones we only watch out for yours truly... the government. kidding. yourself and those in your daily routine. think about it.

*Happy Cinco de Mayo tomorrow. I hope your day is as good as it can be!*

Pete's been living it up. work. bikes. apple cider. races. more work. dinner and friends. even more work. baths and showers. wait, he might not like you to know that he likes bubble baths... uh. change of subject... we love the new house. absolutely. it's a gem in all aspects: location, proximity to the garden, size, feeling, romance level, privacy and old-man Ashke's appreciation of the porch. I am excited for you to come and visit.

Wedding news: more invites are being returned, thank you. and we still have a small batch to send out! It's going to be a great little weekend, and a fun exploration of the area(in town and far from town). Please continue to keep us in the loop and we'll do the same for you :)
