smoke smoke everywhere. if you haven't heard or live in a hole like i kind of do... there are fires all over MT, some of Idaho and Wyoming. Big Timber, Paradise Valley and a few other local ones are closing down local trails and canyons becuase of their potential to move into the area and cause even more damage. these all feel like big ones which leave the air smoky, hazy, and a bit hard to breathe. but this is how it is. i wake up every morning thinking about how it smells like a campfire outside. there isn't any ash/soot anywhere but you can "see" it everywhere. the Department of Environmental Quality said we've got pretty dirty/almost hazardous air. the hospital is full of people with breathing problems. the moon is sometimes a glowing red color and the sun is pretty much dull b'c of the stuff in the air. thank goodness for firefighters, and thank goodness for the ability to prevent cities from burning down.
this is all for now, no weekend plans since it's not much fun being out and about.
*oh yeah, i found out that my dear friend Tadjar is hoping to make it out to visit me this fall; most likely on her fall break in october .... hmmm.... what trouble that could all lead to.... now if only i can convince T-star and Pixie to make it out as well...*
