i'm not sure if pete started writing about pictures or not but here are a few that we finally printed off of the roll of film i started most likely in february.
weather update= no more smoke in the air. it started raining yesterday and has been drizzly ever since. it's in the high thirties outside and we've been covering the tomatoes at night in hopes of keeping them through this short spell of cool weather. who knows though since i heard "fall is here and there will be few nice days left. it'll be snowing in higher elevation". whoa. sleety stuff today= no more fires. i suppose it's quite the trade off. all i know is that its COLD in the house. it's really damp outside and its definitely the start of a really fast fall season.
since i finished my last shift really early- i was entirely confused or misinformed- i figured that i should make it home and at least try and do something productive. i'm not sure of what any of that could be. blast it for there being so many varying schedules. also. what are time frames and deadlines anyway? i probably shouldn't start ranting too much before i make myself into a peculiar mood. i think i'm in the mood for a really good conversation. i wonder what will happen tonight and what will go down from here on out.

but now there are a few new random thoughts. traveling plans? other things going on? who knows. it's still pretty chilly. we've canned plenty of plums from the tree. and are starting a few other projects within the house. i'm not ready for winter to show up and i've been told that it'll warm up and there will be a nice warm up for threeish weeks or so.
