Broken Spoke

I've realized we lately have only talked about Elinor.
Pete goes on night trail rides on Thursdays. I get a night at home to put E to bed, and have me time. Since they didn't ride last night (Turkey Day), on the last ride, which happened to be the first one leaving from the new shop location, someone caught a picture.
I know it's not of Pete, but it is of Andy. When (if) you came for the wedding, do you remember eating at the Asian restaurant? Hanazono Asian Noodle. It's the owner's son- Andy. Andy started biking for the High School MTB team, and then asked to be on the Broken Spoke Racing team, and is now on both. His mom started biking to have something for them to connect over- and it's the coolest story- not only the coolest thing to see... a high schooler connecting with his mom.
Okay, that story wasn't about Pete, but it was close. Many things that Pete does reach out further than just me. or just Elinor. or just himself. There are times when I feel like I want more time with him! Yet I know I get it, I know I will get it. We're always changing. We're always looking for better ways to enjoy ourselves- together-

I look up at the wedding mural which is above the computer and see many fun phrases and thoughts. Mine for today:
"May you laugh often and much.
May you dream big and always."
