ELINOR TURNED ONE!

First a birthday card from Dan and Jen
We had already opened the swimsuit and new yard pool from Grandma Linda and Grandpa Al.
Next party balloons and a picture with Grizzly Uncle Adam. or maybe that should be Grizzly Elinor.
ha ha!
No pictures of the potluck were taken, so onto Carrot Cake! We sang happy birthday and Elinor crawled into my lap and proceeded to eat her cream cheese frosting cake. Yum.

Checking out this frilly tutu outfit with Grandma's help. She opened wooden and battery filled toys. She opened clothes, and a blown up "Rody" pony (i'm sure there will pictures of this pony soon enough). She opened many more gifts than I ever expected.

while there were many many more presents, I forgot/was too busy to get more pictures. Adam counted 28 people give or take two... It surely was a full house.
There were many cards to look at, and envelopes to explore... even the day after. Elinor still sits and looks at them... especially the textured ones.
Thank you to all who were there- I suppose many of my local friends do not look at this blog. It mostly is a place for MN folk to see what's been going on.
