We're home for the visit.
I forget how an eight day trip sounds like a long one until you're already there and it's half over! Holy cow. So much more to do and so many more people to see. Even visiting a restaurant here and there that we always love to go to when we're home. Pete left with his dad to go "Up North" for deer hunting. They'll be back coolers full and with stories on Monday. It will be a good weekend with my mom and hopefully my sister. We've already seen all three parent sets and are looking forward to a bit more time with each. :)
We've been lucky we have a credit card that gets miles for everyday purchases and I flew home for $5. We save them up all year long and get our "free" flight out of it. Pete flew home at regular price. I realize that we wouldn't nearly see our family as often if it wasnt' for the cheap flights!
Next planned visit with the family is in late May for brother Dan and Jen's wedding in Cody, WY. And won't that be a celebration!
Definitely more to come for what happened during this trip. Including pictures.
Later. Gotta enjoy my time here while I'm here.
