Things here are stoking along.
We're going out for a "intro to mountain biking" bike ride for his wrist. Last night we went to the Drive-In Movie theatre and watched the double feature: "Cowboys and Aliens", then "Crazy, Stupid, Love". What funny movies....
We've been going out to eat a little here and there.
We've been seeing more of our friends.
We are making goal lists of where we'd like to go, what we'd like to accomplish and more... here's the abbreviated version:
- three week road trip to Dan n Jen's wedding in Cody WY next may
- the Cascade Quest sleddog race the end of January in Leavenworth WA (three? or four days?)
- small bike trip around Whidbey Island
- mountain bike more of the Adventure Route on the Northern Olympic Peninsula
- get back to MN for four or five days
- get hair cuts
- make my potential kayak trip in the San Juans in a week actually happen!!!
- post more photos on the blog and send letters/e-notes home more
- Sprinter Van?
- spend quality time at home with each other just enjoying life
the first is the Turret from our bedroom- brilliant morning light! The second is the view from on the deck (go out a little door through the attic or thru the turret window). The third is the back yard from the bedroom window. spectacular evening sun. the clothing line (the three lines of white plastic cable along the walk path) dries clothes pretty darn well.
