Pete and I are getting out of work early to go see Jane Goodall tonight in Seattle. She'll be speaking about what she's currently up to, how her projects are going and who knows what else. I still find it pretty amazing that I get to see her "in-person". Yes, I'm bringing binoculars to really see her! I hope that's not creepy. I look forward to seeing what color she'll be wearing, to hear her voice and to get inspired.

Tadjar is moving this way. The car is in motion. The cosmos knew she needed to be out here. Let's just hope that she finds a good job swiftly. I've been scoping for stuff already.

The bike shop is slowing down a little, but every business in town is. Our shop JERSEYS show up sometime soon (as in ideally Friday). They will sell like hotcakes. I look forward to seeing them! We are doing two bicycle maintenance clinics this November. December is our one year!! Holy cow, everything is coming up fast.

Drinking some tea, looking out over the water, thinking about how things will be changing. I've been pondering a lot about how nothing really is permanent. Nothing. Our lives are little blips in the length of history.... let alone this moment, or today! How important are our actions, really?
