the rain is finally here. I am so happy for it. Spring has sprung! things are going great. i'm unpacking boxes and getting more and more filled into all the little spaces. I went grocery shopping yesterday and it felt nice to stock-pile the "usuals". i ran out of hangers to hang clothing. what a dilemma (not really). there are so many other things to think about than if i should hang or fold my t-shirts.
I have been thinking a lot about family. what family means to me right now. what it used to mean to me. I've been thinking a lot about what family members (this includes friends) are going through more than usual right now.
it's nice to have made it through the winter. I send warm-sea-wave-thoughts to all you Minnesotans.
Je t'aime.
Oh yeah, in a gale force windstorm two nights ago (accompanied by a large amount of rain), one of the boats that was moored out behind the kayak shop drowned. It was floating belly-up still tied to its anchor. how terrible. yet pretty darn cool to see. but maybe i shouldn't say that too loudly in a marine community like this one.
also: Pete has a six hour race on Easter Saturday. send him well wishes. (so does co-worker Nate!)
