well, happy belated St. Patty's day everyone!
pete and i have slept in the new place for two nights now. it's an utter mess. but at least the bathroom is somewhat organized! he he. i am loving the place already.
this weekend will be finishing moving all our fun stuff from the barn, getting the final cleaning done, and moving old-man Ashke to the new place. speaking of dogs, Lance Mackey won the Iditarod! Fourth year in a row! that's NEVER i mean never been done before. he was nearly two hours in the lead! what's he up to? the rest of the mushers are filing their way in! Jeff King took third, and DeeDee took 22nd! cool. the first rookie to place was in 21st. there are 56 teams still standing.

*Our friends Mike and Sarah had a beautiful baby girl. she took a while to come out and join us in this world, but Sarah is recovering well. and so is the little squirt. I totally assume she's absolutely wonderful. They named her Sola.
