Pete celebrated his birthday yesterday. Wow! an entire year has rolled by already. we talked about how we hope this coming year will lay out, hypothesized at how it won't lay out anything like we want, and pondered what we'd like to accomplish this spring and summer.

There was a big bold pair of travelers
We went to Orcas Island just to take in all the sites,
we saw the campsites and ocean views and shot out all the lights!
And everywhere we went we gave a war-whoop!
(and that is my attempt at singing an old camp song to say what we did for pete's birthday weekend).we checked out two frickin crazy trails in Moran State Park on Orcas Island. We camped at a resort with a hot tub and sauna. We ate a few really good meals. We prepared a few really good meals on the trail. what a good weekend away!!! Happy birthday pete!
