that's such old news. he he he. what's going on here is that today was a great day. pete shaved chops into his face for the fixed gear/single speed race... thus setting the pace for the rest of today's events. the race went really well for not knowing what to expect. there were nine racers, leaving only room for growth and a few new friends. commradery among cyclists led to a great event and many future events to come. the cruiser group felt under represented so there is already talk of another race at the end of next month with a cruiser division. post race = doughnuts at granny's. then for us, back to the homestead to do a little winter fence preparation and thoughts of how to keep warm all winter long. dinner was a barbeque to cap the evening off and it included a campfire and NPR. good shit. good day. good people. what more could you ask for?
