the family -which on this trip consisted of mom, dad, and youngest brother- has been visiting for the last few days. they arrived on friday arvo, and are about to leave. this is their last full and lazy day together. tomorrow they'll head out for wyoming, south dakota and a last trip back to st cloud. it seems like they've had a good time. i've definitely had a really good fill of my family and that's nice since it'll be around christmas until i get to see them again. but even that is up in the air.
things are good.
now that its the next day and the family is on their way, i get to mention how things were. they were great! it was awesome showing them around to a few of the places that i've enjoyed seeing and experienceing while i've been here. friday, the day they arrived, was a talk and fill in on stories to catch up night. saturday we traveled and toured around downtown bozeman then went up the "M" for a hike and good view of town. and a BBQ for dinner. sunday led to all day up in hyalite canyon where we climbed in the morning at Practice Rock, ate lunch and then biked up to Grotto Falls. and went home well worked. Monday was spent in a whirlwind tour of Yellowstone NP. i enjoyed being there again and it was sweet summiting Mt Washburn, seeing elk, bison, fox, marmots, bighorned sheep, and eagles, seeing Old Faithful and mostly touring around in the van. Tuesday was a "lazy/recoup" day. it was a splendid way to bring the family vacation to an end. this morning was a fairly good breakfast and last minute talks then sending them on their way.
so now i get to think about jobs once again and start in on the puzzle fitting game of jobs and my life situation. i've been thinking more about how this blog might be a silly thing yet i keep typing away. i should go do some other things.
