England

Here’s the beginning of our trip.

After our 10 hour flight from SeaTac to London Heathrow, our friend Paul and his Dad picked us up and whisked us to Stonehenge before dark.

What a site!

Then the hotel for a full nights sleep after an insanely long travel day plus time zone difference.

Day 1

We traveled w Paul’s Mom and Dad, and Paul to Dartmoor for a quick hike at Hay-Toor, tea drinking at a 700 year old RiggleStone Inn, some wild pony petting, to a pub for a drink and finally to Castle Tintagel. Tintagel is the castle ruins of King Arthur and the supposed Merlin's cave.

Back in Exeter we ate at a Carvery (essentially I thought similar to a Thanksgiving feast). Yum!

Day 2

We wandered around Exeter city w Paul and his dog Dante. So many beautiful old buildings  and having a local was fun to guide us to sweet sights, and tell us the history and folklore.

We ate a lunch at “Boston Tea Party” and had cream tea.  fun!

Then a playground, before our Megabus up to Bristol.

In Bristol we hopped a prop plane (Aer Lingus) and flew a quick 1h20min flight to Dublin!

***Trip highlight: when the Republic of Ireland customs officer asked "if we had ever been to Ireland before?", and when we responded "no", said "NOW YOU HAVE" as she stamped our passport.***

Made it late to the hotel and had a pint of Guinness, laughed and promptly fell asleep.
