outside the womb

floating
in a warm amniotic sea
the safety of darkness

of this new light
where life is to be lived
did you dream of a cradle
of gentle hands sweet caresses
the softness of a breast
a mother's humming lullaby
tears warm as love
falling as a gentle rain

• we know this:  due mid nov.   unknown gender.   unknown size  or  time of day.

• bets payable to Pete. 
• $20 entry. 
• gets you bragging rights, and a bottle of wine OR a case of beer. 
• Must be paid by Halloween for entry, ASAP is best.
