June 30 - July 7
We hopped in the car on Sunday afternoon and drove to Montana for a little wedding week celebration. Pete's dear friend Seth was marrying his fiance Kirsten. They planned lots of wedding week events. We partook in as many as possible.
Monday= float (raft and tube) the Madison River.
Tuesday= camping up at Hyalite Reservoir. and Stand Up Paddleboarding, biking, sitting in chairs and swimming. Wednesday was the BarnDance! what a ho-down.
Thursday was fourth of July and we skipped the picnic at Lindley park for a virgin soak in Norris Hotsprings for Elinor. She did fantastic. She loved it. I loved it. Pete loved it. It was a blast. We went "home" to Seth's and sat on the barn deck (we helped him put it in last May when we drove through town) and ate dinner and watched the sun set.
Dallas and his wifey Colleen. They live in Durango greater area now and he owns and operates a Recycling company, she is in grad school to be a therapist.
Friday was the wedding. Saturday morning was the cleanup party and us departing. what a whirlwind visit. I am thankful. I am happy that we were able to skip town for a little while and enjoy some HOT Montana weather.
