Rhody Week!

Elinor is the best baby. She never ceases to amaze me. 

This week in town was the Rhody Festival. What a blast. We went to all the events we could manage!

Wednesday were the Trike Races.

Thursday was the Pet Parade

Friday was the Kiddie Parade at 3:30 then the Beard and Hair Contest at 5:30, with Bed Races at 6:30pm.

Saturday was the Grand Parade at 1pm - two hours!! Some 80+ floats entered. Followed by the first ever CakePicnic- they made 2,000 slices of cake to give away in celebration of Chief Chetzemoka. Saturday night was the Dine n Dash at the Hospital, where you could pick up your race packets for the Rhody Run and have a spagetti dinner made by Chef Stark.

Sunday at 11am was the Rhody Run, a 12K running/walking race.

And now it's already another week into summer, and Sunday afternoon.

 

In the larger world, Brother Andrew, Wanna-Be Sister in Law Grace, and Brother Dan all gradumatated on Saturday. From various levels of schooling, but they are now smart enough to get a job. Good luck and Congratulations to them!!
