Elinor is growing like a little bean stalk. She's weighing in at 19
pounds 2 ounces. She's definitely in a growth spurt, she's eating
every hour and half or so, and sleeping most of the time. It's
been an interesting transition through always laying and being
happy to wanting to sit and hungry! I'm sure she'll get enough food
to eat and enough things to occupy her so I can eat.
Ha ha ha.
We've made trip plans home for the Christmas and New Years season. I
think I posted them on the blog. We all head out together. and then
Pete heads home, then several days later Elinor and I head home. Seems
like it'll be a good balance of four Christmas celebrations, and then
New Years somewhere. Luberda, Sexton, Cath's family and Verna's. busy
busy. that'll be fun figuring out when to celebrate it all. Which,
though, I'm sure will happen a lot sooner than I think. I'm looking
forward to the entire thing, and mostly getting to relax afterwards
and actually enjoy family time.
Pete and I are still in the house searching game. It's quite intense.
We will look at another one soon. We'll see what happens. I'm very
hopeful for what can and will happen in the near future. We found an
investor who'll do what I want to do when I'm older: lend a large sum
of money to help an excellent young couple get the jump start they
deserve. I'm tired of renting and I hope that we're in a place where
we can continue to manage it. We've gone this long; don't see why it
won't continue to be the same. And we have a pretty stellar action
plan.
I started a business entrepreneur class, it's an eight week course and
on Thursday nights. We've covered the intro to Entrepreneurship,
Mission Statements, Legal Entities, and are getting into Marketing. In
two weeks we get to the nitty gritty of finances and budgeting. weeee.
Okay, off to my first meeting of the new Board that i'm hoping to be
on. We'll see what it entails. It's for the Rhody Run. the largest run
offered in our town for like 30 years!
