We went to Breastfeeding Tea yesterday and got to hang out with other babies and moms, and Kathy! While Elinor had three other kids older than her, she had teeth and more pounds than the three others. They could sit by themselves; and two of them could crawl/squirm around. Elinor wiggles arms and legs while on stomach- stuck in one spot. I guess all babies work on whatever they know they can do well... or in all different "firsts". All the other babies were half her size and age. There were a total of nine moms with babies.
She is now 26" long (all torso).
and yesterday, she was half an ounce shy of 18 pounds. I bet today she's turned over to 18 pounds.
She's in Carter's size 9months with little room to spare.
And now that she has teeth we're going to think about food other than mommas milk. But that will be a movie all in itself.
