Clothesline

The clothesline
teaches patience,
trust in sunlight,
the breath of wind,
the grip of wooden pins,
the way we trust
the arms of others
to keep us suspended
above the earth,
gravity,
ever seeking to reclaim us.

And this poem is from dear friend Larry. He sent it along this way with a great little note. Thanks!
Mom and Dad are in MN celebrating my Grandma's 85th birthday. She said it's great being with the aunts and uncles. I wish Grandma many wishes for her happiness and whatever she wants for her day.

Jody is here and it's great having both her and Pete home on a vacation. we're just waiting and spending good time together. The weather has been great. a little bit of rain and a lot a bit of sun. The farmers market (first one of the season) was fantastic this morning. we're so lucky.
