Two first frosts

Two nights ago was the first frost. and again last night. It really is December! I was starting to believe we'd have a growing season that lasted all year round! Half the trees and plants are still green and the other half are brown. The other part, that I forgot about, is how different humid cold is compared to dry cold. MT was dry cold. Here (and MN) is humid.... 40 degrees really means like 15 degrees F. silly.

Time to start wearing more layers when outside and when biking to work! eeks.

We'll be having a winter solstice party. Ask me for more details.

~my friend from Bozeman, Grace had her baby!

On Saturday, November 28th @ 5:34pm (sundown) Josephine Mar Hammond was born! She weighed 8lbs 2oz. She's so beautiful and they're all doing well. Josie was a surprise baby- Grace waited to find out the sex at birth. How cool.

Congratulations once again Grace and Geoff!
