is it ever possible to plan it all out?
I've started working at a restaurant in town... Hanazono Asian Noodle. It's technically Japanese food and it's delicious. I like it so far and I'm still so new that I'm trying things out :) I just finished my second lunch shift, and now have done two dinner and two lunch. I'm learning how to say the meals, how to (slightly!) describe them and i've now tried a few of them. Ideally I'll be working half or full time once the kayak season ends, assuming that things are still going well.
I'm working at the local KAYAK shop -PT Outdoors- and i absolutely love it. I have been doing office work, boat yard prep and cleaning, guiding tours and prepping for a two night trip next weekend. I did my first "open" water crossing Tuesday. I crossed Port Townsend Bay all by myself to make it home after a long training paddle. I'd like for us to get a bio-luminescence trip in sometime too!
Pete's working full time at the bike shop- PT Cyclery and he's enjoying the change of pace, his new coworkers and the great cycling community: both off road and on road.
We're still looking for good friends but those come with time!
*what else do I want out of summer?*
I really really hope that you're all doing fantastic.
