and it all fits together since we have a little Charlie Brown tree. At least WE think of it that way. it all started with a phone call. "hello?" "hi. hot tip, free christmas trees at the Emerson. on the babcock side. there aren't many left. hurry if you want a beautiful leftover tree. bye." which encourages pete, ashke and i hop in the car and check it out. six or so trees left, all small, mangy and with a strand of lights. we take the one that started singing the charlie brown christmas song when we saw it. it made it home, got a stand, a yoghurt container of water, and a light test. they worked! but two strands was one too many. decorations were added: crank arm, three cogs, two strands of black bar tape, one strand of white cotton ribbon, and two season passes to Bridger Bowl.
it all continued on with a few presents underneath...
Holiday plans- sunday thru tuesday.
We're going backcountry camping, skiing and snowboarding in the Spanish Peaks. We'll be near Spanish Creek and are leaving more specific details with our landlords- so no worries about us getting lost. We're packing tonight, borrowing a friend's 4WD Montero and leaving in the morning. I'm thinking that it'll be a blast. Actually I know that I'll get cold but both Pete and I know how to manage that and we can always come home early. Plus it'll be great to see how Ashke deals with a tent and sleeping outside...
We'll send you details of how it goes. Take care everyone. We will too.
Happy HOLIDAYs and if we dont' talk to you have a rip-roaring :) end of the year.
