marvelous frigid white stuff

it snowed last night.... it snowed six inches..... Sunday and Saturday were in the sixties and last night was in the teens. today it was about twenty all day long. WELCOME WINTER! it might last, it might go but i think that this is the start of it. Ashke seems to love it. I think i do but i haven't been out for more than five minutes in it; except for this morning's "yes it snowed"/morning pee walk. i'll have to hear reports from Pete.

Update on the Ashke dog... he seems to know what the agenda is day by day. he's not overly affectionate with us but he does listen (sometimes very slowly), and licks our faces. I think he's getting used to us. He absolutely hates being left alone so he's been "biking" to work with Pete; where he lays outside the shop all day. I assume sleeping and watching people. He's good but he definitely is thin, likes to run, his coat is changing so much right now, and people recognize him. Pete and i are learning his quirks and personality traits as well. I think he's a good addition to the team. Prior comments about being in the dust are nill- i can't wait to feel him pull....

other news: i think road bike season is over :) but i think the snowboard/ ski season is in full swing. the mountains look glorious in the five thirty pm sunset. Halloween is soon and the costume party on sat night was pretty fun... a scarecrow, a rastafarian and a dog with a green bandana.... the local ski swap is saturday and i have the first saturday in about six weeks off so i might go but i'd have no idea of what to buy... i think i need skis though.... Time to plan a night to wax the boards.

Take care all, have a rip-roarin' day!
